Why are you focussed on looking back two years?
We all know about the SAG mill issues. They were not batteries they were power cells which I take to be inverter modules - and they took an age to be replaced.
The contractor lay-offs were around a year later (mid 2014) because the mine was clearly over-manned. Are you suggesting that the mine should have remained over-manned?
But the MD responsible for the poor manning and for poor implementation of the expansion project has gone - and lets face it, all of the bad news has already appeared in the share price - in spades!!
This is a new era, new management and a clear plan to get the mine working at a suitable rate to meet the mill capacity. So why not look forward and focus on where the share price ought to be and where it will likely go in the future?
