yes Biggest ... I too recall the Hunt brothers and their attempts to "corner" the silver market.

The whole thing unravelled horribly and they got mauled in the process.

I think that Buffett & Gates are in a different league and that the scenario today if quite different to as it was in the days of the Hunt Bros.

Still .. your point is well made and it is salutory to be reminded of what happened in the past.

Will history repeat itself, that is the question?

Somehow, I don't think so - too much has changed.
