My guess would be investors cashing out shares while retaining exposure to the stock through the oppies. That's what I would do if I thought MMN was about to jump.
I'm not that impressed with MMN. Their heap leach operation near Texas on the NSW Qld border hasn't been well managed imo. Some say MMN management are really good at mining the pockets of shareholders but in their defense they are at the difficult transition from explorer to miner.
I don't hold MMN.
