Labor was never going to approve. They just played a little game. They had/have no valid reasons for refusal, so it a very Scotty like way started with a position and the looked to justify it and orchestrate a pretence at criteria. They never sought answers as there wasn't really a question. A decision, by caucus, had already been made.
As others have already noted should this actually ever make it past a hearing and into open court then.the charade will be exposed bare.
