In many respects, I would rather that there is no decision, until after the election. To me, the strategy of the Labor party regarding PEP-11 is to stall, filobluster, delay and obstruct the decsion making process.

Labor will struggle to win, even with greens help. Except for the inner city greens, the Greens are loosing support. Bob Brown must be so pissed with the likes of Thorpe, Faruqui and Bandt in control.

Really, MK did not have to recuse herslef and hand the process over the ED. Follow the law and process and approve.

ED did not need to send a 1600 page request for futher and better particulars. NOPT completed their (statutory) role and recommened approval.

When was the last time a (legitimate) minister went against NOPTA ?

IF (?) ED has enviromental concerns regaring the drill, then ED is involving himslef in a process that of wich he has no authority.

Environmental concerns, at this stage have no validity.

As far as I have researched, ED does not possess any specialist expertise in offshore drilling. I am not saying that he does no have an understading, but his personal concerns are completely and totally irrelevent.

I would prefer an ealry election WITH no decision.

Those who hold are then given three opportunities.

LNP are looking good. THe bookies have the LNP to win. Postive comments AKA Senator Susan Mcdonald will see MMR SP rise, alot, during the campaign.

The LNP have already set the agenda with Labor is following.

    Cost of living
    Energy,
    Housing
    Immigration

These are the central themes and tie into the rhetoric. this election is about three matters -

    1. The economy.
    2. The economy.
    3. The economy.

I will light a candle at church tomorrow morning and have a little pray for you and that the PEP-11 is delayed until after the election.

ED knowsn when the elction will be. He knows he can stall.
