This is a common misconception. Many people, like Zali, and Allegra, and Whish-Wilson mistakenly think the Responsible Minister has a right of veto. They do not have a right of veto. They are obliged to make the decision in accordance with the law. This is Albo's problem, whilst he may want to refuse the applications, there are no legal grounds to do so. This is why Husic will do nothing. Good see PEP11 is back on track.
