Supposed gas resource is 5.5TCF. Yes Trillion Cubic Feet.
5.5TCF = 5802 PJ
1 Petajoule [PJ] = 1 000 000 Gigajoule [GJ]
5802 x 1,000,000 = 5,802,000,000 gj (5 billion 8 hundred and two million)
Albanese government wants a price cap of $11-$13/gj. So let’s be conservative at $11.
5,802,000,000 x $11 = $ 63,822,000,000. (Sixty Three Billion Eight Hundred and Twenty Two Million dollars)
63,822,000,000 (total resource size) / 32.25%(MMR share of PEP11) = $20,582,595,000.

$20,582,595,000 / Total SOI 2.25b= ~$9.14 per share.
Conservatively, upon approval we could aim for 4-8% of the above.
4% $823,303,800 / 2.25b =~$0.36
8% $1,646,607,600 / 2.25b =~$0.73

*this does not factor in costs/gas price*

This is what I have got. 2021 was speculation on approval, this case will actually give us the approval. So should the govt not submit documents I’d expect some fireworks Thursday.
