The Queensland government has called for tenders to administer its 100,000 employees currently salary packaging and is proposing to change the current arrangements whereby the monopoly is held by MMS's fully owned subsidiary Remserv.
Under the terms of the new tender it is likely that Qld will join other states and appoiunt a panel of administrators opening up competition and severely hitting MMS profits from its monopoly Qld operation.
Strange that MMS has not released this to the market as part of its continuous disclosure obligations and may be a possible reason for its director Mr. Podesta selling over $6,000,000 worth of shares in MMS on 3/12/2009
