My own theory is that the rise is rumour based. There has been talk, and reports, recently of them going for another takeover attempt of ECX. I see ECX is up over 5% today as well. Now that both companies have done their reporting, and there are no hidden nasties in the accounts, I think many assume that is the green light for a bid.
