in the short term, next week's federal budget may allocate some money towards the infrastructure. Colin Barnett promised 300+ million and asked the Commonwealth to fund a further 300 mil. If we get some federal funding, that could boost the SP. (although the announcement of the WA money didn't, however to get the support of both govts might cause some movement)
The BFS for stage 2 of jack hills is due in the second half of 2009, and that triggers the substantive payment of about 1 bil from Mitsubishi. However, if the drilling results don't prove up more DSO we may not get the full 1 bil, but a lower amount.
When the CHM claim is finalised, some expect a further rise in the share price, although if that were the case then I'd expect CHM's price to sit a lot higher than where it is now. (can't wait for all the CHM comments that are being typed.. right about now...)
then there is the lingering possibility of Sinosteel having a bite, but it looks like they got to their 5% and are happy to sit there for the moment...
