MND Phase 1/2/3 Trial review what to expect. The Chemistry !

Hi all, a quick but concise review.

In approximately 3 weeks, our reformulated and specifically micro delivery mode drug will be introduced to a trial MND patient.

What causes MND / ALS ( Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis ) ?. Current research shows it to be a protein aggregation and/or protein folding event causing a layer of waste over the electrical junction boxes in the brain ( simply put ), this is caused by oxidative stress ( the body not clearing oxygen by product waste) , inflammation and mitochondrial energy failure ( bodies inability to rid excess by products of metabolism).

Monepantel (MPL) increases mTOC1 which supports protein synthesis via regulation that then controls protein degradation through autophagy. ( MPL clears the excess proteins , by increasing production of the cellular recycling process)

In particular MPL binds to FK506 ( a binding protein) as well and of significance it promotes P70S6K1/2 another potent binding protein. What is interesting is that MPL ( a fourth generation rapalog of rapamycin) works differently than rapamycin . It's like comparing Penicillin to our current generation antibiotics.

Querforth states in his study " under neurodegenerative conditions inhibition of mTORC1 will stimulate autophagy and the removal of misfolded proteins " Mammalian Mechanistic target of Rapamycin (mTOR) complexes in Neurodegeneration " Querforth 2021

It all depends on the chemistry , i will finish this brief on a nifty tune.

As i have said multiple times, i am here solely for the Science. I bought in for the doggie cancer . That goal has been achieved.
MND then SARS-CoV-2 then Pancreatic Cancer and so on and so forth, ALL takes time. ( PAA the third largest Pharmaceutical in relation to patents held in Australia, is it 75 ? )
