I don't remember if Socrates did say that. He was more renowned for his "socratic method of inquiry" where he probed people's inital responses by providing counter-examples. My favoutite Dialogies concerned "what is a good man?" and "what is happiness?"

My point was that given Exergen is seking money, and the political entironment favours expenditure on infrastructure and job creation, can the two not be combined to speed up projects in BM and LV?

Having good ideas is one thing (Exergent technology), but I have a strong bias in favour of implementation; getting the funds or removing the barriers for commercialising and implementing that technology with Mantle Mining.


Note regarding planning, I was involved in a Melbourne Strategy Plan in the early 1980s with one objective being to increase white collar employment opportunities in Melbourne's depressed western suburbs. I boldly suggested moving a government department to the western suburbs, which was howled down, mainly because current employees lived in the eastern suburbs!
