I just got back from the open day. I was the only Mantle supporter there, amongst 40 locals protesting against the mine. They were very quick to jump to there own conclusions about things, Callum tried his best too correct them but he`s fighting an uphill battle I`m afraid.
There are 7 drill holes left, each taking approx a week to drill, he said a week each is best case, so realistically we wont have results for 10 weeks approx.
He didn`t know anything about the JV progress or anything other than the current drill program. The idea being this will give us an inferred resource then Mantle can decide if they think it viable to proceed.
The current hole has hit a thick layer of Basalt, common to the area, but after 85m they have hit coal, still drilling and was a thickness of 9m. Ive attached a photo of the sample they had there.
