Over the past 2 years it has been my independently opinionated observation that rises in price and volume have preceded MNS announcements in a predictable manner.

IMO Yesterday's price action took an usual twist from previous patterns of price and volume surging pre-announcemnt only to rally for a few days, and then slip back into the existing downtrend. This time things were different -

Yesterday the price was quickly dumped in the afternoon on high volume, which makes me utterly suspicious that the pending trading holt announcement may in fact be decidedly bad news related. I could be wrong as we all from time to time, but I back my assertion at this point based on technical observation yesterday. To me, MNS was dumped late yesterday (on a good day for ASX stocks generally). 45 cents on MNS may well have been the short position of the month.
