The trading range for the day had a high of 46c and a low of 42c which just so happened to be the close.
The following trading day opened at 46.5c, which is higher than the previous trading days high. 46.5c was also the low for this day.
As the low of 46.5 is higher than the previous trading days high of 46c, this creates a "gap" at 46c.
Given the SP is now 45c, the "gap" at 46c has obviously been closed.
If I am wrong, please direct me to relevant TA theory that suggests otherwise as TA is definitely not where my interest and research usually lies
