The ATVM loan should be coming soon. If you had the time to listen to that podcast I linked, the head of the DOE loan programs (Jigar Shah) said he is very focussed on helping companies who manufacture in the US. Since iM3NY is located in the state of New York, supported by the highest ranking senator (Chuck Schumer), is co-owned by C4V which was co-founded by Stanley Whittingham (Chuck's buddy), is located on a publicly owned university, etc. The list goes on. It's a no brainer and only a matter of time in my opinion.
I think what's confusing to most people is how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is different. This is where Syrah got their grant. Check this link below about the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. I think was broken in my previous post.

You'll see there are two major categories of grants:
1) Battery Material Processing Grants as per 40207 (b)(3)(A)
2) Battery Component Manufacturing and Recycling grants as per 40207 (c)(3)(A)
Of the $7 billion available, only $2.8 billion has been awarded. That means $4.2 billion is still on the table and this has nothing to do with ATVM, so in theory MNS may still get some of these funds - maybe for AAM or Nachu. I would imagine AAM, but not Nachu only because Tanzania is technically not a "free trade country" with the US. The US government only likes working with free trade countries, although I think they are loosening these restrictions as long as a country has less ties to China or any terrorist organizations, but that's still "grey" area. From my research, Tanzania is one of the safest countries in Africa and has a close relationship with the US despite not being a free trade company.
