Hi Thai, perhaps you are jumping to conclusions that it is shorters that are selling. The open short position is only about 309k, so perhaps it is not shorters who are selling but actual holders (shock, horror).

If its shorters they are covering somehow, a possible scenario is option holders short sell then cover by converting their options. But lets all blame the shorters, I wonder how they are covering?
