Looks like the guru has nailed it. Magnis can produce 99.99 % pure graphite with no chemicals. They produce it without the need to use acids which probably ruins the structure of the graphite which KNL and SYR must do.
Not using chemicals that probably damage the crystal structures of the graphite is probably why MNS has the best performing battery in this space as proven from the charts of Trommel. No acids = better performing graphite?
What do I know, I'm just a mechanic.
Like I said Robbo, ask the KNL chief if he would be happy if he did not have to bathe their graphite in acid to achieve 99.95 % purity. My money says he would give his right arm for MNS purity results.
Or should I start a thread saying KNL graphite so unpure they must use nasty acids.
