This is a better argument about mns and investing. Better than the terminology like "rat poo" "dog stock" that the saviour brigade like to use repeatedly. I would agree that "highly Speculative" companies are at greater risk, I personally would not consider MNS in this catergory as they are further down the track than some on HC lead us to believe. Not financial advice and contrary to your thoughts sometimes governments throw money at new industry to create stimulus during these times. Perhaps no boxes ticked on your list but there are many on my list that have been.
I suppose it all depends on your risk profile and your time frames...
