Hi WD, yes, similar things have been done by shareholders for other stocks over the years but management or Boards have simply failed to act on it. MNS seems to have run with it though. Contrarians can be right at times but not always.
I read a good post by a member somewhere, wasn't sure if it was this stock, where contrarians can post bomb, or collectively (my words), ride a stock into the ground, especially speculative or Nanocap stocks which are mostly occupied by Retailers.
When a stock falls in price, and people are losing money, then people will say what they will say. Rationality on how stocks work, plus the dangers of investing, can sometimes go out the door and be replaced by the reality/actions taken by tanking bank accounts. Then everyone loses.
