MNS has higher proportion of product in higher grade therefore their basket price is higher. Higher grade flake can replace synthetic.
Synthetic graphite is made from Coal or Petroleum Coke. Costs approximately $6-11 grand/t to produce depending on process methods and how much you are allowed to pollute in your country without incurring harsh penalties.
SYR will be selling Refractory grade product to China. (market price in china is actually $500-700/t)
