JDragon, I believe from UNX presentations our exploration target was 325 - 490Mt @ 4-9% TGC and using a 2% cut off grade.
5% cut off grade estimated a resource of 55-115Mt @ 6-12 TGC.
Although I love comparing between company's (got to know your competitors) I think it is quite difficult to accurately predict what our JORC size will be.
However, a couple things to hone in on is that where there is high flake size the TGC is usually lower. This is why TON and SYR have 10% TGC but poor flake size. TLG is an even better example, they have over 20% TGC but very poorer flake size (hence their basket price of under $500t).
MNS's block F seems to be fitting the typical pattern in that with a 5% cut off the intercepts roughly only average a TGC of 5.5-6% (ann 15.10.14).
Basically, MNS is all about flake size and our assay's have been showing that our resource fits the typical pattern. I don't think we should be expecting a high TGC for the JORC ....... even 5% TGC with a cut off of 2 or 3% might be used. Going by the exploration target this could give us a resource size of around the 400Mt tone mark. This would yield 20Mt of actual graphite and at targeted production of 200ktpa would give a mine life of around 100 years.
A lower TGC really only means higher operating costs but I don't think ours will be to bad as there are no contaminants and our earth is relatively soft.
All this being said, I have given up on trying to predict a JORC..... the only things I know for sure is that our flake size will rock, our sale price will be extremely attractive, our OPEX wont be as low as SYR (I am expecting up to $400t) and we will have at least a 50 year mine life (plenty long enough for most of us).
If all goes well, I think the profitability of this company will surprise many!!!! And don't forget, once we have developed and settled into Nachu, we will be exploring Ruanga as a possible expansion step.
In regards to why brokers aren't rating MNS yet, I think it is hard for them to do so until the JORC is announced and they have production figures to go on which will come out in the feasibility study. Until then, we are still somewhat the dark horse and the unknown quantity....
