All the smaller financiers seem to be in the same boat - they seem to bubble along ok, but maybe they're possibly nobbled by caution and a lack of confidence among their customers, as well as the shift from payroll and labour to AI procedures, which is fiendishly difficult and horrifically expensive. The big boys do it well without regard to their customers, and the smaller operators are caught in the middle between customer service and cutting costs down. It will take a long time to play itself out.
