Excellent work spiro - a slap-down was really required after some of the nonsense posted here.

I'd like more news too, but anyone here who thinks that the team are off playing hallway cricket or sipping cocktails instead of negotiating JVs is seriously out of touch.

These kinds of deals don't get done over a coffee - there are huge risks and big dollars at stake here and every one of our prespective partners has a long and rigorous process that needs to be executed before they will commit their precious capital.

Steve and co have plenty of incentive to get these JVs off the ground. They are motivated by both professional pride and the lure of seriously big dollars. The latter is something that they share will us holders.

As for the team, yes they cost a lot to run - we have no choice other than to grin and bear that one. If they pull off a favourable JV you wont give a toss if the tea lady is getting paid $200k...
