MMI surveying would not take too long. It would just depend on how much money could they allocate to the survey that would be feasible enough to test all priority targets. The key being that it works well in areas with deep transported cover like the Fraser Range.
MMI would give a huge confidence boost to shareholder morale for de-risking the project.
Segue would also have a leg up on other FR rival companies. MPJ's consultants recommended MMI survey for the same reasons as I have stated. However they are focused on their Roy Hill Project and is unclear by their announcements if they proceeded with it, i think they went straight on to a MLEM survey.
They have farmed-out Pardoo and collected $100k of that Acorn/Acuity Capital deal, so they are cashed up.
The company also has other ways of raising capital, so sourcing cash isn't the issue.
(although the funds mentioned above probably go to house keeping/overheads, working capital etc).
