A write down /off of goodwill in Mocka will require an improbably good trading result for Focus and Adairs segments to offset.
I live in a regional area and there is not a lot of furniture store competition here. The nearest Focus store is 100km away. I have very little interest in new furniture anyway.
The management keep saying they are good at what they do, but that is based on what they did in the past- essentially instore retail of sheets, not what they currently need to do, organise logistics and leasing of new stores for Focus.
I see some confusion in that some of the Focus Stores are labelled as Focus on Furniture and bedding.
