IMO blue sky is double the price per tonne, coz everyone "wants an EV now", and to meet that demand, many new operations need to come online, which aren't economically feasible at the lower/current prices. Vehicle prices consequently increase by a couple thousand bucks to accommodate higher LCE price; big deal, at least they're available!
Those producers able to produce at a profit already, make more profit; those newbies that are needed to meet the demand make less profit.
Perhaps this is a few years further down the track though. 2025..?
