How odd - I guess that's what happens when you have religious level beliefs based on theory and modelling and avoid looking out the bloody window at facts eh?
Might also have something to do with confusing lagging and leading indicators with a dash of confusing coincident and causal.
What's the bet that we aren't far away from predictions of an ice age or cooling period?
Now - that will really get the research funding fired up -------- because if it were true - we can live with a bit of warming - we have that experience - but, it sure is difficult to exist under a block of ice
