Look, you are confused about many things, not just Mecca and Medina. Muslims believe that sane human beings should reject human-worship and revert to God-worship. Muslims are fully aware too that Islam is a great danger to mischief-makers.
The word of tawheed, "La ilaha ill-Allah" came to correct belief - not only that of the ancient polytheists, but of all men up until the Day of Judgement. It testifies that there is no divinity except Allah, none other than Him and none along with Him. None is similar to Him, none creates and sustains except Him, and none has the right to govern creation but Him. Only those who reject God or associate creatures with him would be worried about this direct pure message.
Christians say Prophet Moses had horns, Muslims revered him.
Christians say Prophet Jesus is cursed by God, Muslims revered him and praised God.
Jews questioned the virginal conception that led to questioning Mary’s chastity. Quran affirmed her chastity and purity.
Christians claim that Jesus would destroy his enemies at end-times and they claim that Muslims are his enemies although the people who deny that he is a cursed god are the Muslims !
