Of course, we want to do much better. There is a standard blood test for ovarian cancer called CA125. Celsion make reference to CA125 testing results in their trial, as being clinical meaningful. What does clinical meaningful mean. ? I suspect the market has a muted reaction to this company, because more specific information with regard to CA125 was not provided. (and maybe results were just not that conclusive anyway)

We will have an extremely good idea as to the success of Cantrixil, because of CA125 blood tests.

In the patient who is known to have a malignancy, such as ovarian cancer, the CA 125 level can be monitored periodically. A decreasing level generally indicates that therapy, including chemotherapy, has been effective, while an increasing level indicates tumor recurrence. Because of normal test variation, small changes are usually not considered significant. A doubling or halving of the previous value would be important."
