If you read the article you see that they are not claiming to have surveyed or have the information on every american tax payer only those that use that platform as such the figures are only an accurate reflection of the proportion of american taxpayers who use that platform

So why would this ben an end of Cryptocurrency in Russia? Seems similar to what they are doing in many other countries (including New Zealand and Australia)... except I am sure traders would prefer the 13% tax rate!
