There was a tribe in Victoria who farmed, they farmed eels, they also had solid dwellings made of stone with tree branches, leaves and grass for a protective roof.
The only other Aborigines to farm to a lesser degree were those in the north of Australia who were influenced by the Torres Strait Islanders. These people were in turn influenced by the Malacca's who traveled to that part of north of Australia.
For the most part Aboriginals were hunters and gatherers and did not acknowledge the concept of land ownership, just certain regional tribal localities. Most Aborigines were unaware of the existence of the majority of other tribal inhabitants. So much for a united country consisting of some 250 different tribal groups and languages!
Land rights have only now become an issue as the hangers on can see a benefit in promoting the myth of ownership!
