Now, let's look at some other ancient cultures with similar hot climate, and non-husbandry of animals - The Aztecs, the Incas (smart enough to move to higher altitude and prosper), the Mayans, the Egyptians. Add several cultures in the Middle East - Iraq, what is now Saudi, and Yemen. Then let's look up to Europe so many thousands of year ago....cave art (thousands of years before aboriginals could draw anything), But Euro people lived in houses and actually did agriculture - long before Aboriginals ever saw it,
Dare we look at North America...Inuits - and down south 'Indians'...All with authentic and very strong accomplished cultures. How about the Polynesians? Perhaps my favourite people. They travelled bravely to strange lands across the Pacific - and made them their own. And prospered.
Never mind we can falsely admire the boomerang, some lame dances in the loose dust. And we call it a culture.
Those born to it know- they are playing Australians for idiots. We need to import some Japanese here to teach Aboriginals the values of hard work, team spirit, and what is a bigger picture in life. It is a lesson worthy of the rest of Australia as well.
