I think it's more the feeling of desperation from some people who have gone balls deep on a stock, realise they're in over their head and are in damage control mode trying to reassure people everything is fine to protect their capital.

There's no shame in eating a loss, anyone who's trading has copped it regardless of how well we thought out our entry point at one point or another. We've all undoubtedly had rough patches where stuff went wrong for a quarter or so too.

That's the thing about EM1 though. Studying the company is like going through layers upon layers where its obviously something is up and Crowd1 is soaked into it deep. I know the gaming industry so some stuff is so jarring when I see it presented I feel I should speak up and call it out because it makes my head hurt when I see a $1 party thread off info that doesn't sit right.
