There's guessing from the pessemists and there's guessing from the optimists, lots of guesses no matter how we slice it.

I've said in the past, when somebody 'downramps' the right attitude is to treat it as an opportunity to either explain why they're wrong, or understand why they're right. Sometimes we're really good at that, for example I'm sure Shmah's incessant mentioning of permits has expedited a lot of research and discussions in this forum, and we're all better off for that.

As for holdings, my first instinct when somebody declares their holdings is to give them the benefit of the doubt. There's lots of people with lots of money here, the odds are when somebody says they have a lot, they really do have a lot.
