So when the later says something is restored and it isn't restored - that suggests some sort of human oversight kicking in when a machine is agreeing to whatever is brought to its attention - ie first a complain is made - post is censored - second a complaint about censorship is made - complainer is informed post is replaced - but it isn't.

I can wear a bit of clumsy modding from human or AI - but I want to know if I'm being used to train an AI if I am.

I did some googling AI moderation has gotten better - is more advanced than I thought it was.
