    I have just come off my third suspension, this one for 21 days, something I am not proud of. I would like to take this opportunity to apoligise to the moderators of Hotcopper for suggesting moderating may give them something else to do with their right hand. `My out -burst was in appropriate, as I have said, I apologise.

    Here are some facts`;

    Hotcopper is an anonymous discussion site.

    Any person purporting to be any person could post, in-fact you could have several user names.

    Directors could use this forum to express inside information about
    their company, not that this would occur. `Just as insider trading does not occur.

    Shareholders could ramp stocks for their own advantage..

    But none of this could possibly happen as everyone ticks the accept button when logging on. We all have read the terms and conditions as we do with every internet site that requires a confirmation of terms and conditions.

    Hotcopper is a commercial site and presumably charges a fee to advertise.

    Therefore I ask my fellow posters the following questions ;

    1. Are moderators thoroughly interviewed by HC management

    2. Are moderators paid.

    If the answer is NO to the above two questions then serious questions must be asked in regard to the important role of a moderator.
