I am trying to get my head around the 'wired house' of the future, and how this might change house design and influence buyer trends. What direction is this market taking, and what are the implications, local through to suburb and even which city might benefit from oncoming implications? Furthermore, which technology is the one to choose? e.g. Zigbee, IM1, Z-wave and so on. Then which 'thing' to talk to, Alexa, Google, etc etc. Parameters: Apple ecosystem user, security conscious (internet security), stingy, Torrens title (ie not flats or body corporate limitations) etc. I am feeling like a bit of planning now will pay big dividends in the future. Looking for any thoughts or resources with views greater than the dude at Bunnings (no offence intended or implied, Karen). Appreciated:
