Modern press, a social & political blight?

I am completely over righteous, intrusive, misleading and manipulative political and social reporting that is increasingly the norm.

They are not reporting.

They are in fact “opinionating”.

They create or at least influence political and social outcomes, rather than report on them.

They “make the news”, rather than report on it.

Virtually nothing can be taken as fact.

Virtually nothing they report can be relied on.

It’s an awful state of affairs and very, very insidious.
