Essentially you are asking for a change. Sorry but in the days of msiled in voting papers we got the regidtry to collate and compile a voting schedule before the meeting and they kept it updated all the time. There is no law as I see it that stops the directors and company secretary from accessing voting schedules prior to the meeting.

What you are suggesting is that retail holders would somehow change events. I bet you want the vote not on numbers of shares but one shareholder one vote as well. Sorry this game is controlled by those that have the most skin in the game.

Then you are suggesting that there are paper versions that they fail to provide you. However all the documentation is available online. If you cannot access internet and a printer this can be done via the library.

I want more electronic services not less. I think we have to accept the benefits of electronic or internet serviving. That is how your life can be saved via your medical record. How you can receive faster quicker help.

On the last point I want to make - if you see this process as fraught with possible corruption you can always decide to become part of a larger superfund that can make you part of the big end of town. Sorry it is an election but not a political one - how you voted is on the form , your name and shareholder details are there on the form and even other shareholders can request to see them in the event they want to challenge the validity of the proxy appointment. I have on a few rare occasions seen sets of attorneys negotiating a process to avoid them going to a court.

I always say if you are a retail shareholder you have a few choices but the least effective is to try to fight a well established system.
