For those who haven't noticed today's performance by Moby (MOG), some comparisons may be of interest.

At close yesterday MOG had a mkt cap or around $6.4m, with an 8c SP and 79m shares.

Today they have a mkt cap of $28m and an SP of 36c, because they have a share in a gas project, which the operator states has a 32% chance of success. The SP will probably climb for a few more days

DRK has a mkt cap of approx $9m with a miniscule 42m shares and are involved in drilling through an orebody where fantastic gold and copper grades have already been found and from which 35mt of copper has already been mined. This resource possibly represents only 10% of the total orebody.

What is it about gas? Oh well, apparently the mkt is always right and it is better, by a factor of three to have a stake in something huge that may exist, than something huge that is known to exist.

The great thing to take from today's MOG SP explosion is that it is a sign of things to come when DRK drills back through and then reports grades of 23g/t for 37mtrs of gold, or 1m finds of 600+ g/t, or 7% copper and multiple other high grade finds over significant depths, all of which have already been recorded and are detailed in announcements.

Because when a small cap company with hardly any shares reports fantastic news, their SP can multiply immediately. For drk this should happen in the next 2-3 weeks.
