do you have a clue what's involved in the sale of a business this size.

you don't just stick up a sign, agree to a price ands sign.

Do you think you can move a business and all its associated systems from one owner to another in a blink.

if they do sell it will be a process that takes 12 - 18 months just to manage the system migration.

sure they will agree to the sale, but that sort of transition will take a lot of detail planning and will be a factor in the sales price.

Then their is the negotiations on the migration of people from one business to another.

The migration of IP

Negotiation of the migration of outstanding payables/receivables

all affecting the sales price.


Then multiply all of this by the number of interested parties.
Might be easy selling the corner store , but not a business of this size and complexity.


They have been at it for a while, so my money is before Christmas,
