Moly Mines Ltd announced a major expansion of the Spinifex Ridge molybdenum/copper resource, Western Australia, with the mineral resources and mineral reserves now estimated at 658 million tonnes at 0.045% Mo, 0.080% Cu, 1.27 gpt Ag.

There is an additional large inferred resource of 390 million tonnes at 0.039% Mo, 0.069% Cu, 1.22 gpt Ag.

The more than 100% increase in resource tonnes results in a 25% decrease in Mo grade as the additional tonnage has been added in the lower grade halo around the periphery of the deposit, the company says.
