    I realise that what you guys are saying about Warne coming back may be in jest, but it just reminds me of how fed up I am with hearing about how great Warne was.

    We lost the Ashes in England in 2005 WITH Warne. Sure Warne was a great leg spinner, but he was by no means the answer EVERYtime we needed a wicket. He had umpteen bad matches like everyone else.

    Seems that when these people retire, they are immediately elevated into some sort of fairytale status. I hear people talking about Hayden, Gilly, Warne, McGrath etc as though they were individuals who never failed. Rubbish.

    Really, it's a bit ridiculous. Besides, they're GONE. Time for us to move on.

    We don't have an abundant supply of talent stock at the moment. We're doing the best we can with what we have.

    The Aussies will get better imo. Let's face it, they can't get much worse. The Poms have had the rub of the green and that will change. Look for a better performance from our lads in Perth.
