As a result of the gf crisis, molybdenum prices experienced a sharp downturn, as did all raw materials. Yet by august the price of molybdenum doubled the low level seen in the second quarter 2009.

How solid is this price hike and how long will it last? What can we expect in terms of the evolution of molybdenum production and consumption in China? How have prospects changed for the primary Western projects?
