Moly's original claim was $2.77lb, not kg, but regardless it's now with the Tooth Fairy, along with the "HRE's just down the road" story, etc.
Judging by the following it does appear the interim CEO hasn't quite got on top of Moly's PR Dept as yet:
"Mountain Pass is the world's largest, most technologically advanced, and most environmentally responsible rare earth manufacturing complex ever built, and reaching operational status is a historic event".
will be interesting to get his full definition of "operational" Feb 28.
