I partially agree with your rationale but slightly skeptical about some of the optimism expressed here. The UK shale is very political and the Green and local activism is very powerful and effective. This whole momentum can be stopped in its track if there is real actions (drilling and produce safely) to demonstrate the promise of shale. The boys in oil also has away to take the pie for themselves and leave the crumbs for small investors like us. With this in mind I remain cautious and keep a small stake in the game until concrete actions is evident.
