Some good postings here of late......certainly agree that fundamentals are/or should be the key driver for decision making, as to whether to buy or sell a specific equity.
However with iron ore companies....ie at least the ones with some proven deposit or real worth about the company.......plain and simple, these stocks just go up and up, over time.
Sure core fundamentals are very important....but this stock now has an excellant pedigee (ie it got what it takes).....to follow the same course as companies like MIS, MMX and GBG. - whereby over time the shareprice just moves up.
These stocks mentioned are 15 or 20 times bigger than YML.......yet have port and rail hurdles/time delays to overcome. (Refer to the deposit, to market cap comparison peer analysis section the Patterson report.)
I think MIS, MMX and GBG have moved to become such big companies in relation to YML......simply because they have been around alot longer.
Point here is....aside from pure fundamantals, YML shareprice will just keep on ticking up, becuase its a quality iron ore prospects.....and that what iron ore companies have been proven to do.
Slighly different way to look at things here ....maybe also highlights the fact NOT to sell too soon, on iron ore plays that are real and have something to offer
