I agree with your points @tutes - can't have it all our own way - sadly.

There is always churn and for all sorts of reasons. For example, the weeks before Xmas typically sees traders and investors selling small cap holdings as everyone looks to fund a summer holiday by the ocean and pressies for the kids etc.

However, if things proceed in the direction that Friday's announcement points towards, then buyers will outnumber sellers in the longer run and the SP will command a premium.
