For what it is worth ,how I pick my daily number is to take a snapshot of ASX futures at about 2.15pm WA time(5 mins after auction) , add it to NYSE futures , if resultant number is positive , I multiply by 1.25 , if negative multiply by 0.75 (always a bullish sentiment)
It is no big secret or great system , the further away from zero , the more unlikely I was to getting anywhere near the winning number , and then I guess.
